Welcome to Rubens Cubes. By purchasing from or interacting with our business, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

2. General Information & Products

Rubens Cubes is a small independent business specializing in handmade tiled furniture.

  • Handcrafted Nature: All products are custom-crafted and may vary slightly from photos due to material availability and the nature of handcrafted work.

  • Intellectually Property: All designs, photos, and content on the Rubens Cubes website, social media, and packaging are the intellectual property of Rubens Cubes and may not be used or reproduced without permission.

3. Orders & Payment

  • Confirmation: All orders are confirmed upon receipt of full payment unless otherwise agreed.

  • Cancellations: Once production has started, orders cannot be changed or cancelled.

  • Pricing: Prices are listed in euros (€) and include VAT unless stated otherwise. Shipping fees are added during checkout.

  • Discretion: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.

4. Custom & Made-to-Order Pieces

Most Rubens Cubes pieces are made to order and tailored to your preferences.

  • Customer Responsibility: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all specifications (such as measurements, tile color, and finishes) are accurate before confirming the order. Rubens Cubes is not liable for errors in specifications provided by the customer.

5. Production & Lead Times

  • Made-to-Order: Production usually takes 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the design and current workload. Estimated lead times are provided at the time of ordering but are not guaranteed.

  • In Stock Collection: Items marked "In Stock" are ready to ship within 3 business days after your order is placed. These items are sold as-is and cannot be customized.

6. Shipping & Delivery

  • Carriers: Shipping is handled by reliable third-party carriers. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and item size.

  • Estimated Delivery Times (after shipping):

    • Netherlands: 1 to 3 business days

    • EU Countries: 3 to 7 business days

    • Non-EU Countries: 3 to 14 business days

  • Customs & Duties: For international orders, customs duties and import taxes may apply and are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Rubens Cubes is not responsible for delays caused by customs procedures.

  • Incorrect Addresses: If a package is returned due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, any reshipping costs will be charged to the customer.

7. Returns, Refunds & Damages

  • Final Sale: Due to the custom nature of our products, all sales of "made-to-order" items are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges unless legally required (e.g., EU 14-day withdrawal rights for non-custom/In Stock products).

  • Shipping Damage: While we package items securely, we are not liable for damage caused by the provider. However, if your item arrives damaged, you must contact us at support@rubenscubes.com within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Evidence: Claims must include photos of the packaging and the damage. Claims submitted after 48 hours may not be accepted.

8. Limitation of Liability

Rubens Cubes is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products. Our total liability is strictly limited to the purchase price of the item.

9. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes arising from your use of our products or services will be handled by the competent court in the Netherlands.
